New Trend in RVs
Tuesday, October 28th, 2008I read about a new trend in the RV industry today. Actually it’s not so new, but the idea is really starting to catch on. It seems that with the market not doing so hot and consumer confidence isn’t the best, some in the RV industry are turning to RV Rentals to make a profit.
I must say that given the times this is a pretty good idea, but I don’t think that it is here to stay. At least not as the focal point for many RV dealers.
There is something about owning your own RV. It is your home on wheels that you can take out as you wish. With your own RV you don’t have to worry about making sure it is available, brining it back with the tank full, or worry about spilling something on the carpet. It’s yours to love, use as you wish, and put back in storage when you think it’s time to come home.
Like I said, I don’t think this is a bad idea, in fact I think it’s pretty good. It’s a great way for individuals who are curious about RVing to see what it’s like for themselves. They can basically try it before they buy it.
