RV Shows Weather The Storms
Tuesday, January 13th, 2009It’s January, and we all know what that means…the beginning of the 2009 RV Show Season.
For the next few months, RV dealers and manufacturers around the country will strutt their stuff in front of millions of adoring RV enthusiasts. The only problem is that this year the shows will have much more to endure than inclement winter weather, they also have to compete with the economic storm that is currenlty upon us.
But all is not lost, at least that’s what’s being reported at some of the shows that have already taken place this month. According to visitors and vendors alike at The Valley RV & Camping Show in South Bend, Indiana, the show was smaller but there were definitely deals to be found. And this means good news to both the dealers and the consumers.
While sales at the show weren’t what dealers were hoping for, the general feeling after the show was one of encouragement for 2009.
